Art Worth is being staged by ArtWorks Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to helping artists grow in their business and their work through programs, exhibitions and education initiatives. ArtWorks endeavors to offer visual artists the administrative and technical support that ballet and theatre companies provide in the performing arts. As part of that mission, ArtWorks Foundation stages juried shows, ranging from intimate gallery experiences to large festivals, such as Art Worth.
This juried festival of fine craft and fine art will be held on the lawn of Will Rogers Memorial Center within view of six museums, in the heart of Fort Worth’s Cultural District. This impressive collection of cultural resources also includes three theaters and the Will Rogers Center, a bustling hub for special events. Our show will occupy the park-like plaza at the center of these institutions.
The inaugural Art Worth Festival will take place on October 21st through the 23rd. All artists can apply to the show before May 1st. Participating Artists will be announced throughout the summer. We encourage all artists of the fine arts and the fine craft to apply. Our jurors are Anne Kelly Lewis, Nancy Lamb, Lauren Saba, and Janelle Montgomery.
